The Legal Unicorn

Energy Industry Leadership

Texas needs regulators who understand the operational realities of exploring for and producing clean, reliable, and affordable energy. Environmental stewardship and economic success can coexist. Many industries have successfully merged the two. We are Texans, and nothing is too big for us to achieve.

The Platform

Energy Industry Leader

With your vote, I pledge to lead us to a place where the industry is strong and our environment is safe for future generations. I'm not your typical politician - rather a mom who's fed up with the pay to play system in Austin. My opponent is part of the corruption. We need honesty and integrity in Austin. I have actual oil & gas experience. My opponent is a career politician. I respect private property rights. He will trade your rights for campaign donations. We don't need regulations - just enforce those on the books.

Texans have tolerated crony capitalism far too long. I graduated at the top of my law school class from LSU in 2008. For the past 14 years I have represented operators, service companies, and landowners in complex legal disputes. My opponent may be an award winning gospel singer, but he has no oil and gas experience. I wake up every morning wondering if it's going to smell like hydrogen sulfide when I step outside. I am "the oil and gas unicorn." I have the unique ability to facilitate practical resolutions where my opponent has failed. I'm ready to help usher in the next era of energy independence in Texas. I'm not accepting campaign donations from the industry I will regulate.

United By A Common Goal

The Railroad Commission regulates oil and gas operations in the State of Texas. Sarah will make sure Texas operators can utilize the latest technology to tackle the toughest operational hurdles. She will also help bring landowners back into the conversation to ensure all stakeholders are represented and heard by the Commission.
